Chocolate, Raspberry and Hazelnut

I say this a lot - but making a cake for someone and see the smile on their face when receiving it - oh, it's such a wonderful feeling.

Gunta - I could tell that you were happy with this one ❤️ And that means a lot to me. We met at our CrossFit gym, two people who probably wouldn't have met otherwise. But I'm happy we did. Your a kind and warm person who brings a loving energy to your surrounding. Always enjoy our chats.

And how I enjoyed making this cake - AND you gave me free reins to create whatever I wanted! What I secretly wish my clients would say 🤫 Twenty five is a milestone, to say the least. And given it's a chocolate and raspberry cake I used brown and red/pink as the inspiration theme. I always prefer some sort of base guideline but then leave the rest to where ever my mind leads me forward. Now, gold and rose gold, together with beige and light brown lifted the whole cake if you'd ask me. Makes it pop. And oh, don't forget the details - the tiny sprinkles carefully placed in order to create a special effect.
