it's me, Jenny! What a lovely surprise to see you here. Maybe you already know me (hi friends and family!) but it's probably more likely that you don't... So, I'd say we start with an introduction:
Let me introduce myself
I’ve been into baking for quite some time now — it all started with bread in 2012, especially sourdough. I took a few classes, got completely hooked on the process, and before I knew it, I was experimenting with sweet treats too (yes, my sourdough cinnamon buns are quite exceptional to be honest 😉).

As for how I ended up baking cakes… honestly, I have no idea! Part of it was probably social media’s fault, if I had to guess. Either way, I’m super glad something sparked it because cake design has become such a fun creative outlet for me.

You know those moments when you just know you’re doing what you’re meant to be doing? I had one of those back in 2018 when I baked the cakes for my sister’s best friend’s wedding. I’d been baking non-stop all week, the fridge was jam-packed (ten cakes in total 😅), and I was decorating the last one when it hit me — this is what I love. This is totally me.

Fast forward to today, and I’m finally putting together a website to share my ideas and cake designs. Took me long enough, right?

I’m not a professional baker — just a 36-year-old midwife and CrossFit nerd who happens to be obsessed with baking. I really hope you enjoy hanging out here and checking out my creations.
