Chocolate, Caramel and Peanut butter

Oh my, this chocolate cake turned out to be something special! Now, to be honest with you, I'm not the biggest chocolate lover out there. Especially when it comes down to cakes, as difficult it is to admit. However, this one actually made me reconsider my opinion. Imagine this; a rich chocolate sponge with some extra chocolate bits thrown in there, a creamy salted caramel mixed in with the buttercream AND som crunchy peanut butter swirled between the layers together with some caramel buttercream. It's a lot - I know. But still, doesn't sound to bad, doest it?

Since I didn't bake this cake for any special occasion, I chose to freeze the cake cut into serving sizes right away once it was decorated. But hey, I think having leftover cake in the freezer ready whenever you need is a splendid idea. I haven't really tried freezing buttercream cake yet before but I'm keen on finding out how this works out!
