SWEET &
GORGEOUS
Hello you,

First and foremost, thank you for stopping by — and welcome! This is a place for all cake lovers out there, or for anyone who simply enjoys looking at cake photos (please tell me I’m not the only one 😅).

I know you’re probably eager to start exploring, so I’ll keep this short. I guess you could call me a bit of a cake design geek. My love for baking cakes began about eight years ago and has since grown into one of my most rewarding hobbies. I truly believe in the saying “we eat with our eyes” — so with that, I’m excited to present to you…

What's going on?
My latest project
#13 Passionfruit, Raspberry and Almond/Coconut
Happy birthday, Hjalmar! 🎉
My nephew is about to turn one — such a big milestone, yet still so very small. He’s one of the happiest little humans I know and seems to love life in a way that’s completely contagious. So I wanted to create a design that celebrates exactly that — hence a (mostly) yellow cake, sprinkled with a whole palette of other cheerful colours.

And since he’s also extremely (!) adorable, a cute giraffe felt like the only logical choice 💛

The cake features vanilla sponges with raspberries tucked inside. Between the layers you’ll find either a Ruby chocolate ganache with an almond and roasted coconut crunch, or a passionfruit mousse with a raspberry curd insert. It’s all covered in a thin layer of passionfruit ganache and finished with passionfruit buttercream.

To finish it off: homemade sugarpaste flowers, leaves, and a little figure, meringues and macarons, dried raspberries, sprinkles, shimmer, edible gold leaf, decorative “disco balls,” a few wool balls — and quite a generous amount of buttercream 💛
COMING UP
Sometimes the cake is shaped by the occasion — whether it’s a birthday, a wedding, or something else worth celebrating.
